- if on social security and handicapped that means some1 is unable to work if a job is found for that person and they take taxes out on them they can get in trouble cuz legally they cannot work because they are getting the ssi for being handicapped and unable to work if they get a job the ssi will say they arnt handicapped if they can work
- A person drawing social security disability can earn a small amount of wages.
- Yes you can. Just contact your local Social Security Office and speak to a representative. It has been several years that I inquired and I am sure the limit which is establish by the Social Security Administration has gone up. If you find out and start a job you will have to report your earnings from the job to Social Security periodically.
- There is a limit on the income you can earn, but yes you can take a job - you'll report it to the ss people.
