What do social conservatives think about having a working mom on the Republican ticket?
For years, the social conservatives have looked down upon working mothers because they felt the husband should be the one working while the mother should be at home raising the kids. So where's the criticism of Sarah Palin for her career choices by the social conservatives?

- welcome to the 21st century
- I'm a conservative, and I've never felt that way...Not sure what you're talking about
- Wrong. That's your opinion. You don't know what it's all about. But hey, believe what you want.
- You are right, it has become very quiet. I also have heard no criticism regarding the exposure of her pregnant teen daughter to the whole world. If a democratic nominee had done that, they would have crucified her. That hypocricy never goes away, does it.
- Maybe they felt that way in the June Cleaver world but not now. Why doesn't anyone ask Obama if he's neglecting his children while campaigning?
- Forget about Social Conservatives; what do you believe about it? What do all Americans believe about working fathers who have been presidents and vice-presidents for all the years of our history? Look, I am an independent, but I see politicians among both the Republicans and Democrats, most of whom are family people, so I find the present fuss very illogical, since no one has been objecting to female Republican politicians all along. Please think carefully and fairly before you publish your words. If you want the Democrats to win, quit going on like this; you're only galvanizing support for Palin.
- There are many female CEOs out there with families. Being a conservative, I've never had an issue with working mothers. This is a different time, where cost of living is much higher and a single income family is becoming few and far between.
