Has anyone taken a degree in Leisure Studies and what jobs has that opened for you?

I'm thinking about going transferring into Leisure Studies at Montclair State in NJ, was wondering if anyone has taken a similar major and could maybe give me a little more sense of what I'm looking forward too. Thanks!

1. I know people that have college diplomas in Leisure Studies. They either work at the YMCA for low pay, or work in an area totally not related to their area of study. In these economic times, I'm not sure that Leisure Studies is a smart area of study. Do more research before transferring.
